As a People & Change Director, you are part of the Go-to-Market People & Change team within nlmtd. You advise and coach senior stakeholders through complex transformation journeys and develop new services and methodologies to help organizations achieve their mission faster.

In addition, you take an active role in business development: identifying market and client opportunities, leveraging your network strategically, and translating commercial opportunities into sustainable client relationships and value propositions.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic transformation programs for clients, from analysis to implementation and long-term embedding.

  • Advise C-level stakeholders on organizational development, leadership development, and cultural change.

  • Actively leverage your network of clients, partners, and experts to accelerate projects and new initiatives.

  • Develop new People & Change services within nlmtd that help accelerate organizational transitions.

  • Guide, coach, and inspire teams and leaders in realizing sustainable change.

  • Collaborate with nlmtd’s management team to shape the strategic direction of the Go-to-Market approach.

About you:
You are a senior professional who combines strategic sharpness with human insight. You balance head and heart, enabling you to create sustainable impact at multiple levels.

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 10 years of experience in People & Change, organizational development, or HR transformation, preferably in a consultancy or corporate environment.

  • Proven experience leading complex programs with C-level stakeholders.

  • A strong and active network of clients and partners who value working with you within the People & Change domain. Experience and/or a network in the public sector, healthcare, social services, energy, or travel & transport is a plus.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic capabilities.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and experience with intrapreneurship or business development.

  • A team player who inspires and connects others.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English.

About the terms:

You will join us as an entrepreneur under the following terms and benefits:

  • 80% of your fee is yours; 20% is contributed (as an investment in you and the growth of nlmtd).

  • A 12% commission when you bring in assignments for colleagues. The same 12% contribution applies when you work on an assignment brought in by a colleague.

  • Round 2: A second interview with a People & Change Go-to-Market Lead, where we invite you to share your vision on People & Change across various transformations.

  • Round 3: A final interview with one of nlmtd’s Founders.

  • Afterwards: Signing the collaboration agreement.
