About the job

The core pillars of nlmtd are Strategy, Innovation, and Transformation, and our projects primarily focus on topics such as the energy transition, innovation, sustainability, and digitalization.

As a medior consultant, you will work on various client projects at nlmtd, depending on what best aligns with your expertise, experience, and interests. You have the opportunity to indicate which projects suit you, and you collaborate with other nlmtd colleagues on client engagements. Our entrepreneurial model gives you the freedom to further develop your area of expertise or to experiment in a different domain, just like a true entrepreneur. We are also open to expanding our scope if you can contribute new business based on your own expertise.

As a medior, you are broadly deployable and also have the chance to specialize within a particular field. In addition to developing yourself further as a consultant, we also encourage your growth as an entrepreneur, this could involve co-authoring client proposals or expanding new or existing business opportunities.

About you

Our consultants work on challenging projects every day to make companies future-proof. Your knowledge and experience could be a great addition! What do you bring to the table?

• University-level education (WO)

• 3+ years of experience at another consultancy firm

• Project management experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Entrepreneurial mindset

• Ambition to make an impact - both in business and socially

• You speak Dutch and English

Terms and conditions

Working at nlmtd gives you the opportunity to be part of an organization that makes a real difference. The work atmosphere is informal, offering freedom for each individual alongside collective engagement with the organization. We're based in a beautiful office in Amsterdam and regularly organize social activities, including an annual ski trip and outdoor weekend.

You have the option to join us either as an employee or as an independent professional. If you choose the latter, the following applies:

• 80% of the rate goes to you, and 20% is contributed (as an investment in you and in the growth of nlmtd)

• A 12% commission applies when you bring in projects for other nlmtd members. Likewise, this 12% is also applicable when you work on a project brought in by another nlmtd member

• Work on challenging projects that align with your personal interests

• Monthly training programs to develop your consulting skills and other skills, such as communication and time management

• Unlimited fun with fellow nlmtd'ers

• The chance to contribute to building nlmtd in an internal role

Application process

You can respond to this vacancy via the "Apply Now" button. After that, the application process consists of several rounds, with moments of reflection in between, for both you and us, to assess the progress.

• Beforehand: apply for the vacancy, including your motivation letter, transcript of grades, and a short game called ‘Equalture’.

• Round 1: a conversation with a future nlmtd’er, about working within the nlmtd model, your motivation, and your skills!

• Round 2: two cases (a presentation case that requires preparation, and a client case)

• After that: signing the collaboration agreement if we’re a match, then your onboarding begins!
